Who We Are

OUR VISION

The vision of the members of Ambassadors of Christ Ministries Australia is to “Help people of all nations to identify and live a purpose driven life in Jesus Christ”.

Our vision is based on the compassionate statement made by Jesus.

Jesus said; a thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy; I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance. (John 10:10)

OUR MISSION

Our team strongly believes in local church environment and we are committed “To know CHRIST and to make CHRIST known to others”.

Our mission is based on the heartfelt prayer made by Jesus to His heavenly Father.

“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3)”

OUR PASSION

Our passion is CHRIST’ last commanded. GO and MAKE disciples of all nations.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 18-20)

OUR VALUES

We as Ambassadors of Christ Ministries, have sought to define what our core values are and what is truly non-negotiable for us. There are many ways to “do church”, so methods and styles aside, we seek to establish what is core to our faith and practice. (Read more….)

  • I used to ask my husband to come with me to church, but he wouldn’t come. On mother’s day this year, I asked Jesus to bless me with a child as a gift. I told Jesus that people who are known to me have been looking down at me as I am childless. I did not tell my husband that I asked Jesus to bless me with a child until I fell pregnant. I told him with excitement, now I am pregnant because my Jesus has heard my prayer. I asked him prayerfully, whether he would serve Jesus with me and come to Church. To my Joy, he agreed to come with me. Now, Jesus is also speaking with him and my husband wants to serve Jesus and wants to be a good husband and father.
All our glory belongs to our Jesus.

  • I am studying year 10 at Holroyd high school. Six months ago, I was invited to the Ambassadors of Christ youth group. I started to get to know Jesus through their teaching and I received Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. At Ambassadors of Christ youth group, they took care of me and accepted me as part of their family. Leaders have been friendly and caring. They gave me respect despite my age. In our youth group, I am learning a lot about Jesus. I am being taught how to pray, how to read the bible and how to live to bring glory to Jesus. Before accepting Jesus, I was fearful and anxious about anything and everything but now I am feeling great and full of joy. Now my desire is to see everyone as Jesus sees them. Since I received Jesus in my life, I am focusing on my studies and have stopped using bad words. My joy is now in telling my friends about Jesus.

  • I received Jesus as my Lord & Saviour in January 2016. Since I received Jesus, my life started getting better. He gave me peace and hope. I can tell you so many things as to what Jesus has done in my life since January. I would like to share one of the testimonies with you. My wife and I have been married for eleven years. She had a miscarriage and she could not conceive after the miscarriage. Since we welcomed Jesus in our life my wife got pregnant. My wife started going to church. However, I did not want to go, as I had bad habits, such as drinking and swearing. After I started going to church, I have decided to live for Jesus. At Ambassadors of Christ they have accepted us as part of their family. We came from Sri Lanka and did not have a family. Now we are at peace as we have a family in Christ in Australia.

  • I came to Australia in 2012 from Sri Lanka. In 2015, through the “encounter with God” camp conducted by the Ambassadors of Christ Ministries, I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Saviour. After the camp, I was excited and peaceful. I have started sharing with my friend as to what has happened in my life. Some of them have already received Jesus Christ in their life. I came from a very poor family and now I have found hope and Jesus has blessed me with a good Job. I have learned to read the bible with the help of Ambassadors of Christ Church and I have also changed the way I live my life. I came to this church with so much burden. They listened to me and prayed with me for inner peace. I am accepted as part the church family and I am taken care of.
